well- as far as paganism goes I used to attend a wiccan church. I've just really gotten older and more mature- I guess what I could call what I truly believe agnostic. but I still feel myself to be a pagan in a way.
just not wiccan. why do I wanna have rules, you know?
yeah that's how I feel about it. agnostisism is what's I've settled on for now. I'll likely wind up with simply being pagan- but heh, why not do some research. it's worth it. if i don't come up with anything- I'll know what I'm not.
OH man, am I glad to hear that you research! So many people just jump right into paganism without a clue, thinking all they need to do is buy a Silver Ravenwolf fluffy book, some overpriced incense, and a pentagram necklace to be a true pagan. SO NOT TRUE!
mhmm. one of the reasons why I quit going to the church was bunny fluff pagans. oy vay- not to mention all the stress that came with the package of being in that church. honestly- I recomend being in a coven should you ever get into that type of thing.
I have paticular interest in druidry. I can't claim that I know too much about it though =/. but there again- I don't have any deadlines and I don't HAVE to get right down on being mega spiritual. nor do I really want to at the point in time.
I love all the old religions--Druidry, Asatru, and especially Zoroastrianism, the oldest of all! I study constantly, partly because I truly want to learn and partly because I don't want to look like a fool when discussing them. Don't rush your studies, for sure.
